Cooking Class
Attention TEENS and TWEENS - Do you want to learn to cook?
Bring a sibling or friend and join us on March 23rd, 2016 from 4-6 PM for our first Teens and Tweens Cooking class:
How to Make Vegetable Soup, taught by Beth Q. Diamond, owner of Cook for a Change, experienced chef and educator.
Our “How to Make Vegetable Soup” class will include:
Supplies and equipment, Prepping/peeling, Chopping/cutting, Sautèeing, Simmering, Discussion about soup and family culture, General guidelines listed for making any soup at home, Hand-held chopper for each family to take home, Eating soup and taking some home "to go".
Who can attend:
-Teens and pre-teens with CP ages 10-18 are invited to attend and may bring a teenage sibling (or cousin or friend) to assist you and join in the fun*.
-Participants must be able to follow two part directions and be comfortable in small group settings.
*Teens and pre-teens with CP may also attend without a sibling or friend.
Where: 1 CP Place PLLC
Cost: $30 per individual OR $50 for two (student plus sibling or friend).
